We care about your privacy.

The Ethnic Minority Environmental Network EMEN is facilitated by CEMVO Scotland, as part of our effort to make the environmental sector more just, diverse and inclusive.

In order to facilitate the functioning of the network, we will be managing a contacts database of our members, in compliance with GDPR standards.

This means that we:

  • Limit the use of your contact details to communicate on behalf of CEMVO or EMEN, striving to share only information we consider will be useful to you.
  • Do not share your information with third parties.
  • Will give you the chance to withdraw your information at any point, and will contact you regularly in order to update your details but also to check if you agree with us keeping them.
  • Will take any complaints about the use of your information very seriously. You can raise them with our Network facilitator Abiola Durodola (abiola.durodola [at] cemvoscotland.org.uk) or our IT Officer Alvaro Huertas-Rosero (alvaro.huertas [at] cemvoscotland.org.uk) and the issue will be discussed and acted upon with the direction of Senior Management.
  • We will ask for information about the organisation you represent (if you do), and some of your personal characteristics, such as gender and ethnical background. This is so we can be aware of weather we are fulfilling our objectives of fighting bias or prejudice in the Environmental sector.
